Eintracht Frankfurt fights for Europe, but they are a totally unreliable side that rarely connects good performances this season.

They lost to Mainz 2-1 in the last round and are six points behind Europe before the start of this round. They are going through many ups and downs, and don’t seem like a good side for Europe to me, perhaps good enough for the Conference League, but we will see.

Köln not only loses games, but they also concede a lot. They allowed two or more goals in six of their last seven winless Bundesliga matches.

Defensive midfielder and captain, Eric Martel (2 goals, 2 assists in 25 games), got sent off in the last draw and is now suspended for this match.

Both sides have their motives, and I would side with Eintracht Frankfurt here, although they are unreliable.

Eintracht Frankfurt tend to underperform when they are favourites, but chasing Europe and facing a shaky side in a winless form and without a coach looks like an ideal opportunity for them to win at good odds.
