Stevenage had to settle for a point in a 0-0 draw away from home at Rotherham United on Good Friday but nevertheless that point has kept Stevenage in the hunt for a possible play-off spot in League One as they trail 6th placed Reading by just a single point heading into Easter Monday’s fixture at home against strugglers Blackpool.

A previous 1-0 home win over Reading handed Stevenage a decent opportunity to push on and claim and spot in the play-off pack and having suffered just three defeats in their last 10 league matches overall, Alex Revell’s side look a decent prospect to take all three points at Broadhall Way on Monday afternoon.

Six wins within these previous 10 matches suggests Stevenage are likely to be too strong for Blackpool in this encounter especially as the hosts boast an impressive home record which stands at 11-6-2 22/11 to date.

Blackpool are currently enjoying a four-match unbeaten sequence under experienced lower league manager, Ian Evatt, as The Seasiders have picked up three wins in their previous four league matches.
