Five wins in a row have given the Orlando Magic (45-36) an opportunity to enter the final day of the regular season with a chance to push into the top six places in the Eastern Conference. They are going to need a big favour from the already eliminated Brooklyn Nets, but the Magic can only focus on their own matters and that is winning out and at least having some momentum to take into any Play In Tournament game they need to play on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

They are facing the Boston Celtics (55-26) who have locked in as the Number 2 Seed in the East after a crushing win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Big decisions will be made by Head Coaches, but the anticipation is that the Celtics will rest a number of key players to get them ready for the First Round of the NBA Playoffs that begins next weekend. They may have to face the Orlando Magic in that First Round and that is another reason for Boston to not to give too much away to a team that has not faced this new look Celtics roster.

There has to be a respect for the capabilities of this Boston team, even if some of the top names are not suited up, but the Magic are playing well enough to win here.

Unsurprisingly they have been set as the road favourite with the likelihood being that the Orlando Magic will keep the big names on the court for at least three Quarters. That may change if news filters through that the Toronto Raptors are up big and the chances of earning the Number 6 Seed have faded, but Orlando may want to finish strong all the same knowing the post-season begins for them earlier than most.

After finally getting up to full health, Orlando have been playing well Offensively in recent outings with a healthy balance between the three point shooting and getting into the paint.

However, the key to the winning momentum has been the strong Defensive efforts the Magic have been able to put together and that may be the case again. If the home team is not focused, the Orlando can win here in what may perhaps end up being the first of consecutive weekend visits to Boston.
