They will celebrate the title at home if they achieve a better result than Borussia Dortmund against TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday, so the Bavarians should be in high spirits for this game.

I keep running out of superlatives about Bayern Munich, as they constantly break some records week after week.

Last week’s 0-5 victory against St.Pauli brought their goal tally to a whopping 105, which is an all-time Bundesliga record within a single season. That record will rise with five games remaining, so this is a season for the ages.

Bayern Munich have won 8 of their last 9 Bundesliga games, including all 3 of their last games. They also beat and eliminated Real Madrid in the Champions League with a stellar display in the 4-3 win last midweek, so they are in top shape.

VfB Stuttgart

VfB Stuttgart has its own calculations. They are coming motivated to achieve a good result and secure a Champions League spot. RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are their main rivals for the top four, and they are unlikely to slow their high level of play until the end of this season.

VfB Stuttgart won 4-0 against Hamburger SV last week, their third win in four Bundesliga games.

Their away form, however, took a slight dip recently, with VfB Stuttgart going winless in three trips (two draws and a defeat) before winning in their last match 2-5 against Augsburg.
