Wycombe Wanderers will be keen to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon when The Chairboys welcome Blackpool to Adams Park following two recent losses and a draw in the domestic third tier.

Recent defeats to play-off candidates Stockport County and Bradford City were followed by gaining a point in an entertaining and free-scoring 3-3 draw away from home at Huddersfield Town but the hosts still have a mathematical chance of making the play-offs.

Three games remain and Wycombe are seven points behind 6th placed Stevenage but having previously picked up impressive wins against the likes of Barnsley, Cardiff City and Port Vale show that the upcoming hosts are more than capable of picking up all three points at Adams park on Saturday afternoon.

Wycombe possess a pretty solid home record of 12-3-6 42/20 so far this season.

Blackpool’s recent revival in League One under manager Ian Evatt continued last weekend with a 3-1 home win over Peterborough United which also became a fourth win in their last six games overall in the third tier.

Previous victories gained at the expense of Port Vale, Burton Albion and Exeter City though were all achieved on home soil at Bloomfield Road, as indeed was the result over Peterborough, but results away from home continue to be a source of major concern for Evatt and his back-room staff.

The visitors have now failed to win any of their last 10 outings on the road amidst an overall poor looking away record which stands at 3-4-14 17/36 and The Seasiders could have their work cut out once again on their travels on Saturday afternoon.
