Bayern Munich are eyeing their second trophy of the season in Berlin, and they are well prepared for it. The Bavarians won the Bundesliga in dominant fashion but are still hungry for more success as they close out one of their best seasons ever.

Bayern Munich were stellar in their final game of the Bundesliga season, hammering Koln 5-1, with Harry Kane scoring a hat-trick in the match.

Regarding the DFB Cup, Bayern Munich had a more difficult path than VfB Stuttgart, overcoming four tricky Bundesliga opponents on their way to Berlin – Köln, Union Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen (all away games), and RB Leipzig (at home). VfB Stuttgart reached the final after eliminating much easier opponents on their way to Berlin – Eintracht Braunschweig (on penalties), Mainz, VfL Bochum, Holstein Kiel, and SC Freiburg. SC Freiburg was the only decent side there that gave them a little bit of trouble in the semifinal.

Still, they enter the final full of hope after having a great Bundesliga season. VfB Stuttgart drew 2-2 with Eintracht Frankfurt in their last match of the season, securing their second UEFA Champions League appearance in the last three years.
