Bosnia-Herzegovina have no choice but to win. After drawing with Canada and then losing heavily to Switzerland, Sergej Barbarez's side needs three points and favorable results elsewhere to keep their World Cup dream alive.

The performance against Switzerland was particularly frustrating because Bosnia-Herzegovina competed well for long periods before the match slipped away late on.

Edin Džeko remains the focal point at 40 years old, and this could potentially be the final World Cup appearance of his remarkable career.

Bosnia-Herzegovina have shown throughout qualifying that they can respond to adversity, but they need far more attacking quality than they produced in their previous match.

Qatar

Qatar have been more competitive than many expected. The draw against Switzerland gave them hope, but the 6-0 defeat to Canada severely damaged both their confidence and goal difference. They still have a mathematical chance of progressing, although it requires a victory and help from the other match.

Akram Afif remains the player Bosnia-Herzegovina must stop. Most of Qatar's attacking play flows through him, and if the game becomes stretched, he is capable of creating problems on the counter.

Defensively, however, Qatar needs a much stronger display than they produced in their last game in Vancouver.

The Betting Verdict

This should be a more open game than the market expects. Both teams need a win, and a draw does little for either side.

Bosnia-Herzegovina have the better squad and more experience in these situations. Qatar can be dangerous going forward, but their defensive issues were badly exposed last time out.
