Canada have already made history by reaching the World Cup Round of 16 for the first time after Stephen Eustáquio's stoppage-time winner knocked out South Africa.

Jesse Marsch's side have impressed throughout the tournament with their energy, pressing and willingness to attack quickly after winning possession. The return of Alphonso Davies from injury gives Canada another major boost ahead of their biggest World Cup match yet.

There was a time when Morocco was considered a dark horse in major tournaments. But not anymore. To me, they are a genuine contender with their compact way of play and good team chemistry.

Canada will bring intensity and home-continent support, but Morocco have more experience in high-pressure knockout matches.

This could be another close game like most knockout matches so far, but I believe Morocco will put an end to Canada’s good run.
