Bodo-Glimt will be glad to be back at home after their opening-night nightmare in Munich. They lost 5-0 to Bayern Munich in the first round, but their domestic form has been better. They beat Sandefjord 3-2 in September, then lost 2-1 to Brann Bergen, and returned from the international break with a 3-1 home win over Kristiansund.

Their European qualifying campaign also showed what they can do on home turf. Bodo-Glimt beat NEC Nijmegen 3-0 at home after winning the first leg 1-3 away. They have plenty of attacking options, but they tend to leave space for opponents as well.

That could make this a lively, open game. Borussia Dortmund are a step up in quality, but Bodo-Glimt should be more comfortable at home than they were in Munich.

Borussia Dortmund looked set for another win on Friday, only to throw away a two-goal lead against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. Daniel Svensson and Nico Schlotterbeck scored late to put them 2-0 up, but Werder Bremen hit back with goals from Ludovit Reis and Niclas Füllkrug to make it 2-2.

That result ended Borussia Dortmund's perfect start to the Bundesliga season, but their attacking form remains encouraging. They beat Villarreal 3-2 in their UEFA Champions League opener and have scored in every game this season. They also won 0-1 away to VfB Stuttgart and beat SC Paderborn 3-0.

There are some fitness concerns to watch. Julian Ryerson missed the Werder Bremen game with a rib injury, while Emre Can remains out with a knee problem.

The Betting Verdict

I like Borussia Dortmund's chances, but I wouldn't expect an easy night in Norway. Bodo-Glimt have scored regularly at home, and Borussia Dortmund have shown they can give away chances even when they look in control.

The Borussia Dortmund win is currently priced around 2.05, which is an interesting price given their stronger squad and their 3-2 win over Villarreal in the opening round. I think they have enough quality to come away with three points, but I wouldn't be surprised if the hosts score too.

I would go with an away win for Borussia Dortmund, and I see this game ending 1-2 or 2-3.
