SC Paderborn sit 13th with eight points from seven matches, which is decent. Their away form is less convincing, with just two points from three league trips. They have also scored only six Bundesliga goals so far, so they will need to be more clinical to take advantage of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s defensive problems.

Ralf Kettemann's side lost 0-1 to VfB Stuttgart in the cup on Wednesday. That shifts their main focus to the Bundesliga, where another positive result would keep them clear of the bottom places.
