Borussia Dortmund remain unbeaten after eight Bundesliga rounds, with five wins and three draws. Their latest Bundesliga outing was a 2-2 draw away to Bayern Munich, where Serhou Guirassy and Fábio Silva scored to rescue a point.

Niko Kovac's side showed plenty of character in that game, and the 127.6 kilometres covered by the team also set a new club record.

Borussia Dortmund followed that Bundesliga performance with a 2-1 Champions League win over Real Betis. They have been difficult to beat, especially at home, where they have collected 10 points from four matches and conceded just twice.

Emre Can, Giannis Konstantelias and Justin Lerma are listed as unavailable. Still, Borussia Dortmund have enough depth to cope with those absences and should have plenty of possession against the visitors.

SV Elversberg

SV Elversberg have made an impressive start to life in the Bundesliga. They sit seventh with 13 points from eight matches, having won four times already. Their latest result was particularly impressive, as they beat Mainz 4-1 at home. Felix Keidel, Frank Onyeka, Maurice Krattenmacher and Cole Campbell all found the net.

Vincent Wagner's team have scored 16 goals so far, showing they are not afraid to attack against stronger opponents. They have also picked up four points from their four away matches, although their defensive record on the road is less convincing, with eight goals conceded. Also, they lost both of their last two away games against Union Berlin and RB Leipzig without even scoring.

SV Elversberg will be missing a few players for this match. Tim Seifert, Florian Zimmerschied and Benjamin Gyamerah are expected to sit out, while Arne Darvich is doubtful.

The Betting Verdict

A funny thing is that Elversberg is the smallest town in the German Bundesliga, yet a whopping 8,000 away fans are expected, almost the entire town's population.

That should make for quite an occasion, but the visitors face a serious test. Borussia Dortmund have been consistent all season, are unbeaten at home and come fresh after beating Real Betis in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund should win here, but I would boost their victory in a combo with both sides to score at excellent odds.
