RB Leipzig have been outstanding at home this season. They have won all four Bundesliga matches at the Red Bull Arena, scoring 18 goals without conceding! A fifth straight home win with another clean sheet would put them in a very select group in Bundesliga history.

Martín Demichelis' side have also recovered well from their heavy 6-1 defeat away to Bayern Munich. They beat SV Elversberg 4-0 and Schalke 04 0-2 in their last two Bundesliga games. Their midweek 3-2 Champions League defeat to Manchester City was a setback, but RB Leipzig still showed they can trouble top opposition.

Antonio Nusa has been particularly productive, while Romulo and Brajan Gruda give RB Leipzig more attacking options. The main concern is the short turnaround after the European game, although the squad has enough depth to handle the rotation.

Augsburg

Augsburg are going through a bad period lately. They have now gone six Bundesliga matches without a win and slipped to 10th in the table. Their latest setback was a 1-2 home defeat to SC Freiburg, despite taking an early lead through Michael Gregoritsch.

The Austrian striker has been one of their few consistent positives, with five Bundesliga goals in eight appearances. Augsburg have scored 18 times this season, so they can still cause problems going forward. Their defence is another matter, having conceded 15 goals already.

Manuel Baum's side have also struggled away from home. They lost 4-3 at SV Elversberg and 3-2 at Werder Bremen in their last two, suggesting they will have another difficult afternoon against RB Leipzig's potent attack.

There are several absences to deal with. Noahkai Banks, Maximilian Bauer, Aaron Brackelmann, Tim Breithaupt and Steve Mounie are unavailable, while Henri Koudossou is suspended. That leaves Baum with fewer options as he looks to improve a defence that has been badly leaking goals.

RB Leipzig have been almost untouchable at home, and I expect them to control this game.

Augsburg can cause a few problems, but their recent defensive performances are worrying. The hosts should have too much pace and quality, even with the midweek European match in their legs.
