Well, after all the first games in the “Group of Death” we can see Argentina sitting pretty in 1st place due to goal difference.
Serbia and Montenegro are now in 4th position in this group due to their 1-0 loss against Holland which showed them up to look like the weakest team of the four in group C.

Argentina will be looking to seal their position with a win over Serbia and Montenegro and I think they should be able to take control and guarantee a place in the knockout stages.
Looking at Argentina against Ivory Coast we could see the exceptional skill and fast one touch football they possess. The ‘Man of the match’ was the one and only Riquelme who paved the way to a win against the Ivorians. Saviola and Crespo I thought looked sharp and should both start on Friday.
We should hopefully see the two young guns, Tevez and Messi who didn’t make an appearance in the last match but are extremely capable of coming on and ripping up the Serbia and Montenegro script.
We all seen what Robben could do to the defence of Serbia and Montenegro and I would love to see what Messi could do!!

Serbia and Montenegro Will be all out for a win in this match due to their loss against Holland. They are very strong defensively with their main anchor Krystajic.
Vidic will be missing due to an injury sustained during training on Monday, this is a big blow to Serbia and Montenegro’s World Cup hopes and hopefully we will see Argentina taking full advantage of this weak spot.
Kezman (Athletico Madrid) led Serbia and Montenegro’s scoring chart in qualifying for the finals and his predatory instincts could be the key for keeping his country in the race for 1st and 2nd place. Kezman will be looking to showcase his talents in this match but can he deal with the experienced defence of Argentina???
Serbia and Montenegro have some quality but it’s very hard to compete with a team with the long history of talent such as the Argentineans.
Prediction
I’ve been watching Serbia and Montenegro closely and I just think they will be totally out classed, they don’t seem to have that special link that runs through the Argentinean team.
The midfield of Argentina is extremely strong and I expect this to be the key to Serbia and Montenegro’s downfall.
This should be a great match with plenty of hot action!
