Argentina starts this match as the huge favourite against Jamaica and the question is how many goals they will score against them? Jamaica still has not scored any goals or any points so it would be a big surprise if they can score here or create an upset. Argentina has four points and they are expected to come away with an easy win here. Interestingly, five years ago the two teams played a friendly and Argentina won by 2-0 while at the World Cup 1998 Argentina hammered Jamaica 5-0.
Argentina has four points after two matches despite not playing to their true potential. Argentina was supposed to have two victories by now as they had a lead of 2-0 against Paraguay in the first round and dominated the match. However, they lost their concentration in the second half and the match finished 2-2. Against Uruguay they managed to win but by a slim 1-0 margin.
It was Aguero who scored the only goal and he also scored in the first match against Paraguay. So it will not be a surprise if he does score again here. After their draw in the first match, coach Martino decided to make two changes. The first was with Zabaleta returning on the right flank but the other more surprising one was Biglia who played instead of Banega. It remains to be seen if Martino will make changes as Jamaica is not a very strong team.
Meanwhile Jamaica had a good run before the Copa America as they did not lose in six matches. But now Jamaica has lost their two games played as the competition is too strong for them now. They did put up strong resistance against Uruguay and Paraguay as they lost both games by 1-0. Jamaica did not made much changes in their style of play as they were obviously satisfied by the way they had gone down which was just by a goal.
And coach Schafer had made just one change in their lineup after losing to Uruguay in their opening match. They left out striker Mattocks on the bench and brought on the defensive Watson. Against Argentina they might play an even more cautious approach now. So knowing that Argentina is an attacking team they would be happy if they can restrict the defeat once again to a one goal defeat.
Go for this match to go Under 3 goals here.
