The second semi final will be between Real Betis and Valencia with both teams eager to get into the final to win a trophy they have not won for a long time.
In La Liga the two sides are situated side by side in seventh and eight in the standings with Betis having two points more. In their last match Real Betis managed to beat Atletico Madrid by 1-0 while Valencia did well to hold Barcelona to a 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp.

Real Betis have been quite unpredictable of late and their performances changes from bad to good, which was the case of their last match.
They lost to Atletic Bilbao away and in their last match they beat Atletico Madrid by 1-0 at home. They did not dominate the match but they played tactically well.
In that match coach Setien had even rested some players such as Lo Celso, Morona, or Bartre who only played in the first half.
Valencia
Valencia are playing well at the moment and are moving close to the european positions. They are also doing well in the Coppa del Rey.
In their last round they eliminated Getafe after some anxious moments. They had to thank striker Rodrigo who scored all three goals as they progressed 3-1. Amazingly he scored two goals in injury time which brought Valencia into the semifinals.
In their La Liga match with Barcelona they were leading by two goals but then Lionel Messi scored two goals and they had to be satisfied with the draw in the end.
Valencia no longer have center-back Vezo but they bought Roncaglia from Celta Vigo who is expected to start this match as Diakhaby is out through suspension.
Past Meetings:
In the first half of the season, their meeting at the Mestalla ended without any goals when Valencia played as host.
