Juventus have been underperforming of late. Since the start of the new year, they beat Milan by a slim margin in the Super Coppa late and undeserved win over Lazio, then a 3-0 defeat to Atalanta in the Coppa Italia and a 3-3 draw with AS Roma at home.
Juventus must not take Sassuolo lightly here as they can provide a shock in this match.
Juventus have a good away record having won five out of their last six away games. In their last three away games they beat Torino 0-1, drew with Atalanta 2-2 and beat Lazio 1-2.
Juventus have won every away game except the draw with Atalanta so they will be confident of getting the win here. The likes of Joao Cancelo, Rodrigo Bentancur and Miralem Pjanic are expected to start this match.
However Sami Khedira and Mattia De Sciglio will be on the bench due to fitness concerns. Juventus do have a lengthy injury list with defenders Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli all out of action, joined by Douglas Costa and Juan Cuadrado on the treatment table.
