Football: South Korea: K League 2

Preview
Losing a close Play Off tie against the team that eventually earned promotion from the K League 2 to the South Korean top flight might have left Anyang with something of a hangover. They are still searching for their first points of the season as the only team in the Division who have lost every game played, but Anyang won't head to the capital with an inferior complex.
They are going to be facing Seoul E-Land who have finished bottom of the K League 2 in each of the last two seasons, but who have begun this season unbeaten. Unfortunately Seoul E-Land are also searching for a first win of the season having drawn all three League games played and they are perhaps a vulnerable looking favourite on Wednesday.
This is already the third home game Seoul E-Land will have played this season having drawn with Gyeongnam and Jeonnam Dragons here. Both of those clubs are expected to challenge for promotion so those results may be an indication that Seoul E-Land are going to be operating much higher than at the basement of the Division where their fans have become accustomed to seeing their club.
One major concern for Seoul E-Land that needs to be rectified as soon as possible is the 15 game run in the League without a victory. They have drawn more than half of those games, but Seoul E-Land need to find a way to turn some of those into wins to move up the table and perhaps surprisingly push for a promotion place of their own. The side have not won any of 8 games here, but Seoul E-Land have drawn 6 of their last 7 at home.
Last season Anyang were only just beaten by Busan I'Park in the Play Offs and that would have hurt more seeing that opponent earn their spot in the K League. This season Anyang have lost all 3 games played in the League including a 2-1 loss at Bucheon 1995 which came courtesy of an injury time goal conceded.
It has left Anyang bottom of the pile in the early League standings, but this is not the time for anyone to panic considering how competitive this Division can be. One reason for a touch of worry has to be the run of just 2 wins from their last 12 K League 2 games going back to last season.
Anyang have won 1 of their last 6 away games in this Division and they have been beaten 4 times in that run.
3 of the last 4 games played between these clubs in the capital have ended with a win for Seoul E-Land including both played last season.
Prediction
It is hard to trust either of these teams considering the early season form, but at least Seoul E-Land have been a little more stubborn and tough to beat.
Anyang have struggled for form as they have conceded too many goals and the poor form to end last season has seeped over to this one.
Seoul E-Land have beaten them in 3 of the last 4 games between them in the South Korean capital. The unbeaten start to the season should give them some confidence too and Seoul E-Land can be backed on the Asian Handicap to win this one.
The Pick :
Seoul E-Land 2-1 Anyang
