Millwall picked up a fourth win in five games in the Championship last weekend when The Lions recorded a 3-1 home win against Norwich City which helped move the London club within three points of the play-off pack in the domestic second tier.
Despite being handed a heavy 4-1 thrashing away from home at Blackburn Rovers, Millwall have also collected previous wins against Portsmouth, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough and with just two games remaining of the regular season, Millwall may have timed their play-off challenge perfectly.
The hosts obviously need to collect wins in both of these remaining two games though if Alex Neil’s side are to have any chance of a possible top six finish but having won their last four home games on the trot, The Lions will be hoping they can continue their momentum here on Saturday.
Swansea City are also enjoying a purple patch of form in the Championship as the Welsh club racked up a fifth straight win in the domestic second tier last weekend with a 2-1 victory in the nation’s capital against QPR at Loftus Road.
The Swans had previously registered a 1-0 win away from home at Sunderland and even more impressive is the fact that Swansea City have also kept four clean sheets within these previous five wins as well.
The Welsh visitors are also unbeaten in their last three outings on the road in the Championship and Swans manager, Alan Sheehan, will be hoping his side can strike again in the nation’s capital on Saturday afternoon.
