Gent picked up a third win in four games in the Belgian top flight last weekend when Friday night’s hosts registered a 4-2 win away from home at Cercle Brugge which in turn helped lift Ivan Leko’s side up into 5th place in the Pro League table.

Nevertheless, Charleroi possess an encouraging away record of 2-1-1 6/5 and Rik Demil’s side look to be capable of at least avoiding defeat here at the Planet Group Arena on Friday night.
