Juventus will return to the home surroundings of their Allianz Stadium for Wednesday night’s encounter with Portuguese visitors Benfica with the hosts no doubt looking to bounce back from a previous 1-0 loss away from home at Cagliari in the Italian domestic top flight.

The visitors have suffered recent losses in the domestic cup competitions (Taca da Liga and Taca de Portugal) with defeats at the hands of Braga and Porto but otherwise Jose Mourinho’s side have produced a sequence of reasonable results overall as the visitors have been dealt just these two losses in their last 14 games in all competitions.
Nine wins along with three draws suggest Benfica will be tough to gain the upper hand against and in their coach, Jose Mourinho, they have a serial European winner of Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League trophies respectively.
