2026-02-14 - Hibernian vs St Mirren
A Sports Betting Pick by ArmchairPunter
Football : Scotland: Premiership
Venue: Easter Road
Saturday 14th February 2026, 1500hrs (GMT)
Following their disappointing 1-0 loss away from home at fierce rivals Hearts in Tuesday night’s Edinburgh derby, Hibernian will now return to the home surroundings of Easter Park for this upcoming clash with bottom half outfit St Mirren on Saturday afternoon.
Hibernian had previously captured all three points in the Scottish Premiership by way of a 3-2 home win against Dundee United but this victory has been the hosts’ only highlight in their last six matches in all competitions which also includes being dealt three defeats.
However, Hibs have suffered just two defeats in their last nine games in the domestic top flight which has placed David Gray’s side in 5th place in the Premiership table where they hold a commanding 11-point cushion over 7th placed Aberdeen prior to this weekend’s action north of the border.
St Mirren also slipped to defeat last time out in the Scottish Premiership in midweek as Steve Robinson’s side suffered a 4-3 loss away from home at struggling Kilmarnock and a tough looking trip to Easter Road to take on Hibernian now beckons for the visitors.
The Saints had previously put together an encouraging five-match unbeaten sequence in all competitions which included a 1-0 home win against Hearts in the Scottish Premiership along with cup wins over the likes of Livingston and Airdrieonians in the Scottish Cup.
However, St Mirren’s fortunes on the road so far this season in the domestic top flight have left a lot to be desired as the visitors have registered just one away win all season amidst an overall away record of 1-3-8 13/25.
The Betting Verdict
Hibernian recorded a comprehensive 3-0 win away at St Mirren in the previous meeting and Hibs should strike again here.
The Pick :
Hibernian 2-1 St Mirren
