AC Milan Team News
Milan lost at Lazio 1-0 in what we expected would be a low-scoring game, and now they can only win the Italian title with an incredible sequence of events that would include Inter imploding and starting to perform no better than a relegation candidate. For all practical purposes, Milan is no longer under pressure.
The main reason why Milan has failed to deliver this season - even though they are much more stable than last year - is that they're playing without a central striker. Pulisic and Leao are offensive players but not strikers, which makes it really, really difficult for Milan to carve defences open. All things considered, they actually did well to score 44 goals so far and to be this close to perhaps challenging Inter for the title. But you can't challenge Inter unless you can keep winning at a rate of 75% or better.

There's not much that can be said about Torino as week after week this is the same team that will perform about the same. This side has recently found its offensive magic and can make things difficult for almost every opponent in this league. Torino's offense is fluent and can produce both at home and on the road, making this team a difficult opponent for everyone as they're not that defensive, they pack a punch.

You can get 1.40 on Milan as if the opponent is Pisa here. It is not -- Torino is a stable and experienced Serie A side that has its ups and downs but is generally able to win against just about anyone on a good day. They aren't getting many draws; their strategy is to play offensively and try to win the game.
The 1.80 on Over 2.5 Goals is the correct call by the bookmakers, and the price is actually valuable, as we're fully expecting this game to go over. Torino will likely score, and Milan will likely score too. The only question is will someone manage to score the third goal.
That being said, the Both Teams To Score market is offering a very valuable bet on Yes, as it's priced at 2.05. Frankly we trust Torino to score more than we trust Milan, but BTTS-Yes is the correct call anyway.
The Betting Verdict
Betting on Milan to win is hardly a profitable strategy this season in Serie A. Sure, they won 58.6% of their Serie A outings this season, but hardly ever when you expect them to. They dropped points at home to Parma, Genoa, Sassuolo, Pisa and, of course, Cremonese. If they won three of those five they'd likely be at the top of the table right now.
What's perhaps even more notable than Milan's unreliability, or is even the reason for it, is the almost complete absence of wins with a handicap. Milan took care of Verona 3-0 and that's the only easy win they've had at home all season.
We don't think they'll beat Torino with a handicap either. This side caused them tons of trouble in Torino earlier in the season, taking a 2-0 lead. Milan eventually won 2-3 but it was an early sign of how vulnerable the Rossoneri really are, and they remain just as vulnerable. Torino knows exactly how and where.
We'll opt for the Asian Handicap +1.50 on Torino just to mix things up a bit, but BTTS-Yes is an equally good bet, perhaps even better, but we can win the AH bet with many more outcomes, such as 1-0 or 0-0.
