Borussia Dortmund have had a demanding run of fixtures, but they arrive after a 1-2 Champions League away win over Sabah and a 1-0 league victory against Eintracht Frankfurt. They also drew 0-0 away at Union Berlin and lost 1-0 at Bodo-Glimt earlier this month, so their performances haven't always been convincing.
Niko Kovac has warned that his side must be more precise in front of goal. Borussia Dortmund will also be without Ramy Bensebaini, who is suspended.
Borussia Dortmund are likely to dominate possession, but they should not underestimate a Werder Bremen team that already took a point from them earlier this month.

Werder Bremen arrive with confidence after beating Mainz 2-3 away last weekend. Niclas Füllkrug scored twice from the penalty spot, while Ludovit Reis added another goal as Werder Bremen showed they can punish defensive mistakes. They have also drawn 2-2 with Borussia Dortmund and SC Paderborn in recent Bundesliga matches.
Daniel Thioune’s team will not need much encouragement to attack if Borussia Dortmund leave space. Werder Bremen have been productive lately, but keeping Borussia Dortmund quiet for 90 minutes at Signal Iduna Park is a bigger challenge.

I expect Borussia Dortmund to progress, but the home win price is too short for me to get excited about.
Werder Bremen have already shown they can trouble this defense, and their recent results suggest they will not simply sit back and hope to survive.
Under 3.5 goals around 1.65-70 is the bet I prefer, as long as the price holds. Borussia Dortmund have scored exactly once in two of their last four games, and they haven't scored more than two in each of their last six competitive matches.
The risk is that an early goal opens the game up, but I would rather take this market than back Borussia Dortmund at a shorter price.
