This is the semi final clash between young Greek player S. Tsitsipas taking on South African K. Anderson. Tsitsipas eliminated Djokovic as well as A. Zverev, while Anderson beat G. Dimitrov to get to the semi final.

It can be said that Anderson had totally outplayed Dimitrov. It was not even a tight battle between the World’s no. 5 and 6 that we had expected to see. It ended 6-2, 6-2 in favour of Anderson it was clear that the result did not fit the reputation of the two players.
No doubt that Anderson did his part well, but it was the Bulgarian Dimitrov who failed to performed well. Anderson made by two breaks in each set and he never faced a break point in his service games. What was clear is that nderson clearly dominated the match. The only area where Dimitrov was better was in the double faults department.
Tsitsipas
Even though he is only 19 years old, but he occupies 27th place in the ATP list at the moment which is also the best he has achieved in his career. In the previous round he showed he is in good form when he beat A. Zverev, who is the second seed. He was on the verge of defeat but thanks to his never say die attitude he managed to turn the result upside down and reach the semi-finals of a Masters Series Tournament.
Against Zverev, the second seed started the match and won the first set easily. The German started the second set in the same manner and when it was 4-1 everyone thought the game was over. Zverev had match point a bit later when the result was 5-3 but he failed to win the key game and after that from the moment on, everything went in favour of the Greek player. Zverev had two match points in the tie-break of the second set but still failed to win the game.
Past Meetings:
This will be the second meeting between the two players. The first one was played this season in Estoril where Tsitsipas won 6-7, 6-3, 6-3.
