PREVIEW

This is the last qualifying match for the Three Lions and they travel to Montenegro much more comfortable after winning their last match to lead Group G by 6 points. A mere point here will be enough to ensure England's return to the tournament they missed out on in 2008.

England have not dropped any points away from home in qualifying, and come into this with more momentum than Montenegro, who have dropped points in their last 2 matches. In fact, Montenegro even got rid of their manager recently, so the team is now being led by Branko Brnovic, and this is the first game where he takes charge! While Montenegro failed to win either of their last 2, England did win, and without conceding.

Montenegro do not look too dominant at home. While they have not lost there, their 1-0 wins over Wales and Switzerland are hardly inspiring. The 1-1 draw Bulgaria managed here proves this is a team an in-form England could easily beat. England beat those same 3 opponents by a combined 8-1 score on the road!

Capello has made some changes to the team here. Ferdinand has been dropped from the team, which means Terry and Cahill will form the defence, and Gerrard has not been selected even though he is currently playing for his club. The 6 month spell out means this is the right decision. And in that Gerrardless midfield comes Lampard, who has been in great form recently for Chelsea, scoring a hattrick on the weekend to add to his midweek goals.

Wayne Rooney will obviously spearhead the attack, as his 9 goal haul in the Premier League makes him the first choice striker here. He will have Theo Walcott and Ashley Young on either side of him, with Lampard, Barry and Scott Parker behind him.

BETTING VERDICT

Montenegro had been solid so far but that 2-1 loss to Wales shows this team can be turned over, especially when they cannot afford to sit back and not attack.

Montenegro have to win this game, and then go win in Switzerland too. They are unlikely to just defend and after watching the way Bulgaria and Wales handled them, it is clear England will have more than just a few chances to break and do serious damage.

I've had a look and there are already bets on England suggested everywhere, which is no doubt the right choice here. I'm going to suggest 2 others. The safer option is to bet on England -1 AH because I can see England scoring more than just 1, as Montenegro get desperate and chase it.

And keeping with that, I shall suggest the main bet here, the riskier selection of England -2AH which pays a boatload. In my opinion, this bet will be a push if England fail to perform.
