Italian side Napoli goes into this match knwoing a win is all it takes to take them to the next round.

The Italians head into the final Group A game in second place and a point ahead of Manchester City, who face group leaders Bayern Munich. As it stands now, the situation is Walter Mazzarri's Napoli side will progress to the last 16 if they beat Villarreal or if City fail to defeat Bayern.

Villareal meanwhile, are bottom of the group after failing to win a point in the competition so far and cannot even qualify for the consolation prize of the Europa League but are just playing for pride in front of their home fans.

But Mazzarri is taking nothing for granted against the hosts, as it was them who knocked Napoli out of the Europa League back in February. For the visitors, Marco Donadel (thigh) and Miguel Britos (broken foot) are long-term absentees for Napoli, while Salvatore Aronica and Christian Maggio are one booking from suspensions.

While the hosts Villarreal are struggling with multiple injuries, with Javier Camunas (right leg), Cristian Zapata (knee ligaments) and Gerard Bordas (ankle) all sidelined while Jose Catala (thigh) and Giuseppe Rossi (knee ligaments) are out until next year.

But it should be noted that Nilmar is back after ten weeks out with a cyst on his knee, while Cani started at the weekend on his return from a knee problem that had kept him out since 29th October.
