They have probably performed the weakest of the four clubs, even though all have made the Second Round, and Fluminense will need to show significant improvement to progress further.
All it took was 5 points for Fluminense to come through a weak Group having drawn with both Borussia Dortmund and Mamelodi Sundowns around a victory over Ulsan HD. They scored four goals in the victory over the South Korean club, but there will be a real concern about Fluminense failing to score in either of the other two Group games.
Fluminense are unbeaten in 9 games in all competitions and they have found a way to win 6 of those matches, which will help them build some confidence and momentum. The key for this team is making sure they are organised defensively and Fluminense have produced 4 clean sheets in the last 5 games played.

Prediction
Every single Brazilian team at the Club World Cup has earned respect and the fact they are playing in the midst of the domestic season has proved to be an edge.
Fluminense have perhaps not impressed as much as Palmeiras, Botafogo and Flamengo, but they are unbeaten and the team have proven to be stubborn at the back. This will always give them an opportunity to earn an upset and they will need to be tough at the back if they are going to contain tis Inter Milan attack.
Breaking them down might be another tough challenge considering Fluminense have failed to score in 2 of the 3 Group games played. Those failures were against the stronger teams in the section and this could be a very competitive game where the first goal proves to be the key.
Backing at least one of the teams to fail to find the net in normal time looks a better option than backing the under 2.5 goal option, even if that covers the 1-1 scoreline. However, both teams have shown they will not give up a lot of quality chances and the slight edge is with Inter Milan to find a winning goal due to the quality of the attacking play they have produced in the tournament.
