International News :: Kaka to consider knee operation

AC Milan based Brazillian star Kaka may require minor surgery to resolve a knee complaint, reports from Brazil claim.

TV station Globo suggested that the World Player of the Year will have a consultation with Brazilian team doctor Luis Runco on Friday to assess whether he’ll need to go under the knife.

Should that happen then Kaka will be sidelined for around 15 days which would rule him out of the international friendlies with Canada and Venezuela.

He would then hope to be back in top shape for the World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Argentina in the middle of June.

Kaka, who Milan insist will remain despite their failure to secure Champions League football, featured 30 times in Serie A this season and was his club’s top scorer with 15 goals.
