English Premier News :: Newcastle 25/1 for Top 4 – and 12/1 To End Trophy Drought

Mike Ashley has revealed he wants Newcastle to break back into the top 4 of the Premiership, but bet365 make that a 25/1 shot this season.

bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth says : "Ashley is reported to be excited by Newcastle's chances this coming season, but as yet the punters don't agree with him.

They're hardly jamming the phone lines trying to get on Newcastle finishing in the top 4, top 6 or even in the top half under Kevin Keegan."

bet365 are also going 12/1 for Newcastle to win any silverware during the coming campaign.

"The trophy drought on Tyneside continues and you have to wonder where the goals are going to come from if they are end the hoodoo" added Freeth.
