Chelsea's Didier Drogba is banned and Joe Cole could miss out after suffering an ankle injury against Bordeaux.

Juliano Belletti (ankle), Michael Essien (knee), Ricardo Carvalho (knee) and Franco di Santo (hamstring) are out but Alex (groin) has been passed fit.
