German Bundesliga News :: Can Bayern Munich bring their Euro form back to the Bundesliga?

Bayern Munich cruised into the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday night with a 7-1 demolition of Sporting Lisbon, a result which completed a resounding 12-1 aggregate victory.

Now Bayern return to Bundesliga action on Saturday hoping to close the four-point gap to leaders Hertha Berlin but they;ve won just once in the last six away games in the Bundesliga.

Bayern coach Jurgen Klinsmann will be without Italy striker Luca Toni, who is still recovering from an Achilles problem. Tim Borowski (leg) and Hamit Altintop (thigh) are also missing although Franck Ribery is expected to return from a shin injury.

Bochum have been hit by major selection problems with Marcel Maltritz, Anthar Yahia (both ankle), Diego Klimowicz (hip), Shinji Ono (flu), Mergim Mavraj (suspension) and Oliver Schroder (leg) all sidelined.

Skipper Christoph Dabrowski is facing a fitness test after picking up a leg injury in training.

Bochum are brimming with confidence after matching their points total from the first half of the season in just six matches during which they have accumulated 11 points to leave the relegation zone.
