Matchday 3 in the Champions League - facts by the numbers

Manchester United aim to break a Russian hoodoo, Internazionale Milano look for their first UEFA Champions League win in almost a year and Chelsea hope to extend their impressive home run as we look at facts and figures ahead of Matchday 3.

FOUR :
Ahead of their trip to VfL Wolfsburg, Beşiktaş JK have lost their last four UEFA Champions League group-stage away fixtures and have lost all five of their past encounters with Bundesliga sides.

FIVE :
Manchester United have not won in the five times they have played Russian opposition. Their 2008 UEFA Champions League final win over Chelsea in Moscow is their only competitive win in Russia.

SEVEN :
Arsenal have won their last seven matches in all competitions.

EIGHT :
8 games since Inter Milan last won in the UEFA Champions League, stretching back almost a year to their 1-0 victory over Anorthosis Famagusta FC on 22 October 2008.

TEN :
The number of clean sheets Olympiacos have kept in 13 competitive fixtures this term.

THIRTEEN :
Manchester United are unbeaten in 13 away games in the UEFA Champions League, excluding last May's final.

FOURTEEN :
The number of times Andriy Shevchenko scored against Inter while at AC Milan including the goal in the abandoned 2004/05 UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg. He returns to San Siro with Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday.

FIFTEEN :
Juventus's 1-1 draw with Bordeaux on Matchday 1 extended their unbeaten run at home in the UEFA Champions League proper to 15 games. They have won ten and drawn five in Turin since a 1-0 defeat by RC Deportivo La Coruña in March 2004.

SIXTEEN :
The number of European Champion Clubs' Cups Matchday 3 opponents Real Madrid and AC Milan have won between them.

NINETEEN :
Chelsea are unbeaten at home in the last 19 games in this competition. Their last Stamford Bridge setback was a 2-1 loss to Barcelona on 22 February 2006.

THIRTY SEVEN :
Bordeaux have not been defeated in 37 league games at the Stade Chaban-Delmas, since losing to Olympique Lyonnais on 7 October 2007.
