Dutch EreDivision News :: PSV Eindhoven and FC Twente win again but Ajax crash at Utrecht

PSV Eindhoven enjoyed a one-sided 3-0 victory over strugglers VVV-Venlo to maintain their one-point advantage at the top of the Eredivisie.

Wilfred Bouma and Jeremain Lens gave the visitors an interval lead before Atiba Hutchinson put the result beyond doubt at the start of the second half.

FC Twente come from behind and beat Groningen 2-1 to stay just a point behind PSV Eindhoven.

Twente looked to be falling further behind when Tim Matavz put FC Groningen ahead.

But Marc Janko responded before half-time and then struck an 82nd-minute winner to keep Twente right in touch, while he also missed a late penalty.

Ajax failed to keep pace with the leaders as they crashed 3-0 at FC Utrecht.

A first-half brace from Edouard Duplan set the tone for Utrecht, with Ismo Vorstermans wrapping things up late on.
