Real Madrid will no doubt be keen to assert their authority over their upcoming opponents from Saudi Arabia, Al Hilal, when the two sides face off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida on Wednesday afternoon in this Group H opener.

An AFC Champions League final win against Japanese opponents, Kawasaki Frontale, has ensured Champions League football again for next season for the Saudi outfit despite finishing in a disappointing 5th place at the end of the Saudi Pro League campaign.

Al Hilal also finished runners-up to the very same Real Madrid in the 2022/23 version of this Club World Cup, losing 5-3 in an entertaining and high-scoring spectacle at the Complexe Sportif Moulay Abdellah in Morocco.
