An AFC Champions League final win against Japanese opponents, Kawasaki Frontale, has ensured Champions League football again for next season for the Saudi outfit despite finishing in a disappointing 5th place at the end of the Saudi Pro League campaign.
Al Hilal also finished runners-up to the very same Real Madrid in the 2022/23 version of this Club World Cup, losing 5-3 in an entertaining and high-scoring spectacle at the Complexe Sportif Moulay Abdellah in Morocco.
