Bayern Munich come into this one slightly stung after their 18-match unbeaten run in all competitions was snapped at Arsenal midweek, losing 3–1 in the Champions League.

It’s not a result that will derail anything domestically, but it does remind you that even this Bayern Munich side, which has been rolling through the Bundesliga, can have an off night.

And their Bundesliga record… well, it’s ridiculous. Ten wins, one draw, a goal difference of +33 after 11 matchdays — statistically the best start any club has ever made at this point in the season.

They’re struggling to create chances, struggling to keep the ball, and whenever they fall behind, they seem to lose structure quickly.

Visiting the Allianz Arena in this kind of form is as tough as it gets. If they want to survive this, they’ll have to sit deep, hope for a chaotic moment, and try to keep the scoreline under control, which is easier said than done against the most ruthless attack in the Bundesliga.

There’s no mystery here — Bayern Munich should win, and win comfortably. The gap in quality, confidence, form, and depth is enormous right now.

With Bayern Munich’s goal output and St.Pauli’s defensive issues, this feels like one-way traffic unless Bayern have a complete meltdown.
