Atalanta is enjoying a purple patch recently, since Gianluca Scamacca was installed as the centre forward in an otherwise toothless offense. This is when things started going well and, with the exception of an unexplainable defeat to Verona, Atalanta has nothing but wins, both in Serie A and in the Champions League. They return from Super Cup action with a defeat to Bologna, so now they're determined to make their mark on the league once again.
