Maccabi Tel Aviv had to make do with a 1-1 draw away from home at 4th placed Hapoel Tel Aviv last time out in the Israeli Premier League but nevertheless, Wednesday night’s hosts still remain well placed to achieve a spot in the Europa Conference League qualifiers for next season.

Having won just three of their last nine matches overall including six defeats, Maccabi Haifa look to be at a distinct disadvantage when they make their way to Bloomfield on Wednesday night.
