Borussia Dortmund
What a great season it was for Borussia Dortmund. All lines in the team function perfectly, best attacking, best defending team and many other superlatives are a mark of this team and they fully deserved to win the Bundesliga after such domination since the season started in the last August.
Everything is set for huge celebration and after this match the team will receive the Championship Plate and the medals from the DFL Chairman. As many as forty cameras will cover this match, and this match, with the winning ceremony afterwards will be broadcasted in astonishing 196 countries of the world.
Good thing for coach Klopp is that he has BVB strongest possible line up at his disposal. The midfielder Shinji Kagawa has been long time injured, but he will join the team and sit on the bench, and the creative midfielder Nuri Sahin will have a chance for one last time to celebrate with his fellow teammates in the emotional afternoon, as after that match he is the new player of Real Madrid starting from next season.
Lucas Barrios will be the top striker in the formation, Mario Gotze and Kevin Grosskreutz will damage Eintracht Frankfurt from the wings and Robert Lewandowski will have the playmaking role in the middle.
Probable Borussia Dortmund line-up :
Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer,
S. Bender, da Silva,
M. Gotze, Lewandowski, Grosskreutz,
Barrios
Eintracht Frankfurt
What a nerve breaking season it was for Eintracht Frankfurt. This team was placed seventh at the winter break, they also beat Borussia Dortmund at home in the last round prior the winter break and everything looked rosy back then. The players were talking about the place in Europe and possibly challenging for the title.
Bundesliga is very well known for the huge winning and losing swings of the teams in many seasons before and even Borussia Dortmund, who dominated in all segments of the game throughout the whole season, had forbid its players to talk about winning the league until it is mathematically secured.
Ever since the league resumed in January, Eintracht Frankfurt have managed only one victory over already relegated St.Pauli.
In the last final home match of the season last weekend Eintracht Frankfurt lost 2-0 against FC Koln, but what is shocking is that despite the huge importance of the match they had zero shots on the opposing goal which speaks for itself.
Eintracht Frankfurt are the worst scoring team in the league with just 30 goals scored in 33 matches which is Bundesliga record and even more shocking is that in 16 of 33 matches they failed to score a single goal which is another negative record.
One of the many problems is probably that this team relies to much on the striker Theofanis Gekas who had scored 16 out of the total 30 team goals this season, but fourteen of his goals were scored in the first part of the season and he had scored just twice ever since January.
For this match the central defender Maik Franz is unavailable through broken metatarsal and the left back George Tzavellas suffers from torn ligament.
Probable Eintracht Frankfurt line-up :
S. Jung, Rode, Russ, Kohler,
Ochs, Schwegler, Caio, Amanatidis,
Gekas, Fenin
The Betting Verdict
Its a payback time for Borussia Dortmund, who had lost 1-0 to Eintracht Frankfurt in their first meeting of the season.
This is how i see this match-Borussia Dortmund winning comfortably in front of their packed stadium of eighty thousand loud fans and Eintracht Frankfurt goes straight down in the second division.
Eintracht Frankfurt had its chances in many games before, their offense is virtually non-existent, and even the players themselves do not believe that they can save themselves. For me, there is only one option and one outcome of this match and that is the home win for Borussia Dortmund.
