They are coming into this match in good form having won their last five matches. They did lose their Captain stopper Astori who passed away in his sleep, but it seems that the sudden loss of their Captain has given them added strength to continue and play better. Since his departure from the team, manager Pioli's side managed to beat the likes of Benevento and Crotone at home as well as Torino and Udinese on their travels.
That good run has put them again in the race for European positions. They have just four points behind AC Milan in sixth spot. The likes of Atalanta and Sampdoria are ahead of them in the standings still but they have the same number of points.
As for the team news, due to suspension they will be without winger Chiesa, while due to injuries they will not have the services of midfielder Badelj and striker Thereau.
