In their last match Villarreal were beaten at home by Getafe and they must now win this match if they harbour any hopes to stay in La Liga.
However Villarreal have won just one of their last six home games coming into this match. In their last three home games, they lost to Celta Vigo 2-3, drew with Real Madrid 2-2 and lost to Getafe 1-2.
As for the team news, manager Garcia doesn't have any problems with absences ahead of this clash.
Athletic Bilbao
Despite managing to beat Sevilla in the second leg of the Cup, Athletic Bilbao were still eliminated. In their last league match they once again faces Sevilla and managed to win by 2-0. That was their second win in a row after their win in Vigo.
This is the second time Athletic Bilbao managed to win two matches in a row and they avoided defeat in their last five matches. That can only mean that they are playing better now.
Athletic Bilbao have only won once in their last six away games. Their last three away games have seen them lost to Levante by 3-0, drew with Alaves 0-0 and beat Celta Vigo by 1-2.
Striker Williams is in good form now and in the transfer window they brought in Ibai Gomez from Alaves and he will be in the starting eleven.
