Cruzeiro have produced a mixed start to their new Brazilian Serie A campaign as the hosts have won, drawn and lost in their opening three games of this new season but following two away games on the trot (which yielded just a single point, the hosts return to their Estádio Governador Magalhăes Pinto for this upcoming clash against Vitoria on Sunday night.
Cruzeiro opened their account with a creditable 3-2 home win against Botafogo on the opening day of the season but games on the road at Fortaleza 1-1 and a 3-0 loss at Atletico Mineiro means the hosts are likely to be looking forward to returning home.

In addition, Vitoria have been handed no fewer than nine defeats within this 16-game period and results away from home have been just as bad as Vitoria have registered just one win from their last 16 outings on the road as well.
