Monza’s wretched results in this season’s Italian Serie A campaign continued last weekend when the hapless bottom of the table outfit were handed a 1-0 defeat away from home at Venezia, making it 10 defeats within their last 12 games overall in the domestic top flight.

Napoli extended their recent unbeaten sequence in Serie A to six games overall on Monday night with a resounding 3-0 home win against relegation-threatened Empoli and the visitors will be looking for more of the same in Saturday’s trip to face the basement dwellers, Monza.
However, it may not be quite as easy as many expect for the high-flying 2nd placed visitors as Napoli have failed to win any of their last five outings on the road in Serie A, being held to four draws along with being dealt a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Como.
In addition, Napoli have beaten the -2 asian handicap only twice in their 16 away games to date this term, courtesy of a 4-0 win at Cagliari and a 3-0 win at Fiorentina; the visitors have failed to beat the -2 handicap in 14 of their 16 away games this season.
