Copenhagen have made an excellent start to this new Danish Superliga season as Friday evening’s hosts currently sit top of the domestic top flight table with a 100% record following wins in each of their opening three league matches this term.
Early season wins against Viborg, Vejle and Fredericia will give Jacob Neestrup’s side plenty of confidence ahead of this upcoming encounter against the early Superliga strugglers, Aarhus, ahead of this encounter at Parken.

Aarhus by contrast have produced a sluggish start to their Superliga campaign as the visitors have picked up just two points from a possible nine on offer so far this term, drawing twice and losing once.
Points picked up in stalemates with Sonderjyske and Midtjylland were either side of a disappointing 2-1 defeat at home to Randers which has resulted in Jakob Poulsen’s side currently occupying second from bottom in the domestic top flight table.
More alarming though is the fact that Aarhus have managed to pick up just two wins from their last 16 matches in all competitions which came in the form of pre-season victories against Vejle and Horsens but also includes being dealt no fewer than nine defeats into the bargain.
