Brest responded to two recent defeats on the trot with a 1-0 home win against bottom placed club Montpellier in last weekend’s action in the French top flight and the upcoming hosts will hold home advantage once more on Saturday night when they play host to 5th placed Lille at their Stade Francis-Le Blé.

Recent victories gained over the likes of Toulouse, Auxerre and Angers have maintained Lille’s claims for European football next season and although they trail 3rd placed Monaco by just a single point, they also have 7th placed Lyon just three points behind them and breathing down their necks.
Despite winning their last two away games on the trot, the wider picture suggests Lille may have to navigate a tricky outing here on Saturday evening as the visitors have managed to win just three of their last 11 away games in Ligue 1, whilst losing four and drawing four.
