Fenerbahce surprisingly lost 3-1 to Dinamo Zagreb in the first Europa League round, but then won 2-1 at home against Nice in the second round.
Since sacking Jose Mourinho, they have had a new coach in Domenico Tedesco, who has stabilised the team, has experience guiding Bundesliga teams, and knows VfB Stuttgart pretty well.
Fenerbahce looks like an improved side under Tedesco. They are currently unbeaten in nine straight domestic games (five wins, four draws), most recently winning 2-1 at home against Fatih Karagumruk last weekend.
Midfielder Marco Asensio has been playing well lately, scoring the match-winning goal last weekend, but the biggest threat comes from Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri, who leads the team with four goals in seven appearances.

VfB Stuttgart
VfB Stuttgart has the same record as Fenerbahce in the Europa League - one win and one loss. They started with a 2-1 win over Spanish side Celta Vigo and then lost 2-1 away at FC Basel.
However, their Bundesliga form has been impressive – VfB Stuttgart won five of their seven games, including all of their last four, most recently beating Wolfsburg 0-3 away last weekend.
However, their away form in Europe has been less convincing, with two losses in their last two away matches.
The Betting Verdict
Fenerbahce is exceptionally strong at home, so there might be some value in backing them to win.
However, VfB Stuttgart is in excellent form, having won four straight games, so their confidence is high. Still, we cannot neglect their struggles on the road, including two defeats in the Bundesliga and an away European loss to FC Basel.
I believe this will be an open game, so I would focus on goals instead of backing a winner. Considering the form and way of play of both teams, I recommend backing both teams to score in this match.
