I don’t understand SC Freiburg. They are without a win in five Bundesliga games, their worst run since Julian Schuster became their coach a couple of years ago, and then they travel to France and hammer Nice 1-3, coming from a goal behind.
Now I’ll say they will beat the worst St.Pauli, and chances are high they will lose at home. So maybe go opposite of what I recommend here.
Jokes aside, SC Freiburg was very poor last weekend in the boring goalless draw against Union Berlin, but perhaps their midweek European win will boost them properly for this match.

St.Pauli
St.Pauli is the team with the worst form in the Bundesliga at the moment. They are losers of six straight matches, the longest such run of any team. They have never lost more than seven in a row before, but are closing in on that negative record.
The 0-4 home thumping by Borussia Monchengladbach last week was especially painful. Not just the defeat, but it was also their fourth straight game where they failed to score.
Also, St.Pauli has conceded twice or more in five of their last six matches, so nothing functions properly for them.

This match is not as easy pick as it may look. SC Freiburg may be the favorites, but failing to win their last five isn’t exactly great form.
St.Pauli will likely battle harder here, as this game and their next game against Union Berlin are crucial for points. Otherwise, they will sink into the automatic relegation spots.
