QPR managed to stop the rot last time out in the Championship and indeed a three-match losing streak as The R’s picked up a useful point by way of a 0-0 draw away from home at Sheffield United but nevertheless the London club have now failed to win any of their last four games as a result.
QPR had previously slumped to three losses to Derby County, Ipswich Town and Southampton respectively while the bigger picture shows Julien Stéphan’s side have managed to capture just two league wins in their last nine matches overall in the Championship.
Incidentally, both of these rare wins were registered on the road with victories at Bristol City and Swansea City while also being dealt four losses in the process. However, The R’s possess a rather disappointing home record of 2-2-3 8/10.
Hull City by contrast returned to winning ways just before the international break when The Tigers recorded a 3-2 home win against Portsmouth which saw Sergej Jakirović’s side bounce back from a previous 2-1 loss on the road at a rejuvenated Derby County.
That loss away at Derby County has been Hull City’s only slip-up though in recent weeks in the Championship as the visitors have suffered just one defeat in their last eight matches overall in the second tier and having collected five wins within this sequence, The Tigers look a real threat in the nation’s capital on Saturday.
Recent wins on the road at Birmingham City and Norwich City have contributed to an away record which stands similar to that of QPR’s home record in stats of 2-2-3 11/12.

Hull City’s recent resurgence in the Championship suggest the visitors are capable of picking up at least a point here.
