They can ease any lingering worries about the drop by winning this game on Saturday and improving the 4-3-1 record at the Vitality Stadium where Bournemouth have scored 10 goals and conceded 5.
Bournemouth have not won any of the last 7 Premier League games and they have picked up 3 points from a possible 21 in that time. The side have not won any of the last 3 at the Vitality Stadium, but Bournemouth have earned draws with West Ham United and Chelsea to sandwich the 0-1 defeat to Everton.
Lewis Cook is available having served his suspension, but Tyler Adams is a doubt having gone off very early in the first half on Monday night.
Burnley
Big decisions are going to have to be made by the Burnley board after the latest Premier League defeat- January is fast approaching so you do have to wonder if the board will splash the cash in a bid to avoid relegation or whether they feel Scott Parker needs to be replaced as manager. Losing matches always hurt, but Burnley were beaten by a potential relegation rival at home last weekend and a gap is beginning to develop between them and safety.
They remain 19th in the Premier League table, but other results over the weekend means Burnley are now 6 points behind Leeds United in 17th place as we approach the halfway stage of the season. The 1-0-7 away record is a real concern for Scott Parker as it is putting his team under increasing pressure to find positive home results.
Burnley played well enough in the 2-3 home defeat to Fulham, but the defensive issues have to be highlighted with that loss being the seventh in a row in the Premier League. A late winner saw Burnley win 2-3 at Molineux, but they have lost 3 away Premier League games in a row since that victory and Burnley have conceded at least twice in each.
Lyle Foster is away at the African Cup of Nations and Hannibal Mejbri is suspended. Both Kyle Walker and Lucas Pires are available having missed the home game through suspension last weekend.
