Portsmouth claimed a valuable point away from home at Derby County in last weekend’s Championship action after holding The Rams to a 1-1 draw which followed on from a welcome 2-1 home win against Blackburn Rovers at Fratton Park.

However, only one of these five wins were collected away from home which came in the form of a 1-0 victory at Ewood Park against Blackburn Rovers while the other four wins were all registered in the nation’s capital.
Results away from home have also been questionable for a side who sit just one point outside of the play-off pack as The R’s possess an ordinary looking record of 4-2-5 12/19, so the prospects of an away win at Fratton Park do look to hang in the balance.
